Cuando era pequeña, le gustaba ver las fotografías de los libros de su papá. Antes de los libros, para ella sólo existía el territorio bien delimitado en el que transcurría la vida cotidiana. Por eso siempre le preguntaba a él donde estaban aquellos edificios y paisajes lejanos.

El día que ella llegó a la casa y vió a su papá empacando discos y algunas otras cosas, supo que él se iría definitivamente. Esa vez, él también se llevó algunos libros, pero dejó todos los demás, los de las fotografías que tanto le gustaban.
